Mystic Seaport Museum Morgan Ornament

Created just for the Mystic Seaport Museum, this unique brass ornament pays tribute to the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world! The Morgan is known as a “lucky ship,” having successfully navigated crushing Arctic ice, countless storms, Cape Horn roundings and, after finishing its whaling career, even the Hurricane of 1938.
